Pipedrive calculating total value, total cost, neat margin of a deal in the "add product" input wind
Whenever we win a deal we are interested in the total value of it and we do this by adding the products to the deal. At the same time we need to keep track of the cost of those products for us, so we can calculate our neat margin on the deal.
We'd love to be able to not only add the "cost" field to products, which of course can be already done, but for this to became a self calculating data.

What is going on here? 2 years, for developing a field, which combines the total price minus the cost of the product (fields are already in the system).
What is the problem for adding this field? ...

We're thinking about buying Pipedrive for our Company.
I have the same issue and need some really easy and just "high-level" calculations as mentioned in this thread.
It scares me a little, when it comes to delivery of needed features (2.5years since the first request)
Can anybody provide me a solution for this riddle ? :)

In 2023 we are focusing in improving significantly the Products feature. One of the things that will be looked at is what fields are missing when adding products to a given deal.
Feel free to suggest other improvements you would like in the Products Catalog like missing fields to take in consideration during research phase. Many thanks :)
