Bug: in emails, punctuation after a URL gets added to the URL

When composing an email, it's quite common to end a sentence with a URL, like:
"...see this web page: https://community.pipedrive.com/topic/feedback-suggestions."
In Pipedrive, if I paste a URL and then type a full-stop (period) or other punctation character, the URL is only made into a link once I type a space character after the punctuation mark, and the punctuation mark is added to the end of the URL that I pasted, resulting a broken link!
For example, the link above would be created as a link to https://community.pipedrive.com/topic/feedback-suggestions. (with the full-stop/period added to the end of the link text and the link URL once I typed a space after that full-stop/period) rather than to https://community.pipedrive.com/topic/feedback-suggestions, resulting in a 404 error.

To avoid this happening, I have to remember to type a space after the URL, to create the link correctly, and then go back a character to insert the punctation mark before the space I typed.
I have probably sent out lots of emails containing broken links before I noticed that this was happening!
