Create more space between the sidebar and selection boxes when in list view

The new sidebar is far too close to the boxes you use to select contacts when viewing contacts in list view. If you're selecting a large number of contacts for a group email or anything else, it's far too easy to accidentally click on the menu on the left of the screen, which takes you off to another page and you lose all of the selections you have made, which means you have to start the tedious process of selecting everyone again.
Please fix this asap!
