Is it possible to auto-highlight the value in "deal value" so that whatever I type replaces the old

I always have to manually remove the old value (or the default 0) and if I don't, what I type is added to the front.
For example. I'm updating a deal's information and quickly press the value and continue typing the value "500", but because there's a 0 by default and I didn't take the time to highlight and remove it, my deal value is "5000". It's super small and simple, but it would just feel more seamless and easy to not have to remove the default value of 0.
