Ability to attach PDF's to Smart Doc Documents or Make notes w/sig request on a PDF

In my business we have to send PDF drawings for customers to sign.  With Smart Docs, you can upload a PDF and request a signature, but you can't add any text or a note to it, and with templates you can't attach a PDF.  It would be so much easier if you could do either of those things!
