Split screen

Hi folks! I I put a huge amount of work into setting up Pipedrive only to find when I start using it live that the email interface seems crude and unworkable. Gmail and Mac Mail and Outlook havr had various split screens for decades. Is there no way to get a screen in Pipedrive where the message headers are listed on the right and you can view the body of the highlighted header on the right?
Or in the absence of this, is there a different way to work that I haven't thought of?
