Inaccurate Drag and Drop image into email

It's great to have the option to drag-and-drop images straight into emails instead of adding them as attachments. However, I struggle with getting the images to accurately land where my cursor is indicating them to settle. Most times the placement ends up in random parts of the email, displacing texts I then have to re-organize.
It would really helpful if the image dropped exactly on the line where the cursor was placed.
Anyone else experiencing this?
