I've tested it over and over and it's definitely what it is. when you reply to emails, in gmail, in PD they appear when i'm in the inbox view. That simply doesn't make any sense. i reported it multiple times and it was brought up as an "intended feature". That can't make any sense. Please correct it. Just review it, use PD mail feature as a user and you will see how it doesn't make any sense. It has nothing to do with cookies, or refreshes pages. Just use it yourself enough to see how it works.

Start reading labels properly from gmail. If it's archived, it's archived, that's all there's to it.

Sent items truly show sent items, but inbox, shows everything, even items that are not in inbox, in other labels, anything that was filtered in gmail to bypass the inbox.

Hi @Dmitri Ivanenko , thank you for your feedback.

We're sorry to hear it's working differently than you expected, and I see your point. Currently, the email sync feature is not designed to replicate the folders from your email (other than the Inbox and the Sent folders), it simply brings in the email messages from the folders you select to sync with Pipedrive.

We have made sure your suggestion reaches the team in charge for consideration.

Hey @Inês Batata , inbox and sent folders aren't actually sync correctly, i.e. sent items appear in inbox view. And what really is in the inbox folder at gmail, isn't what is showing in PD. PD shows way more items. So it's not really a suggestion, but a fix that needs to apply. The feature the way it's shown (i.e. in PD we have inbox, sent items, drafts, etc) doesn't actually work. The comment that says "We don't track emails properly if they are archived outside of pipedrive" is actually a broken functionality, not a feature to have or not to have. If an item is archived in gmail, it's no longer labeled as "Inbox", yet PD doesn't read that label correctly. I've tested this with many of my users and the same appears for them. I've reported it a few times, but was asked to report it as a feature request, and don't understand why, when it clearly is not a feature, but functionality that should just work as intended. Inbox is inbox. Sent items is sent items. There shouldn't be grey area when it comes to these 2 labels.

Hi @Dmitri Ivanenko . If you're also syncing other labels besides your external Inbox, the emails from those other labels will also show up in Pipedrive's Inbox, as Pipedrive doesn't create folders to reflect other labels than Inbox and Sent. I'd recommend you double check if now or in the past your sync was also syncing other labels from your external email into Pipedrive.

That being said, I have forwarded your feedback internally to our team.

I do sync all emails, if I don't, and only sync inbox and sent items, then it seems i won't have all emails in my PD, and when I go to see contacts and check in timeline, I will be missing emails we exchanged just because I didn't sync those, just because they were filtered into a different label for sorting and processing later.
