Update Lead Value WIth Workflow
I need to update the lead value field using a custom field from the person object. For some reason though the lead value only gives me the option to set a specific value when creating a workflow. Is there a solution for this?

It takes only numerical values as inputs.
You should be ab;e to set this up with Make/Integromat.

Really the best solution to update a Pipedrive field with a values stored in Pipedrive is to go to another service outside of Pipedrive?

Pipedrive's workflow automation still has some quirks and bugs that don't fill some needs.
Leads value automation currently only works with adding a "Specific" numeric value to the Lead. As far as I am aware, you cant send a custom field value through that right now. I know that the workflow automation team is working hard on adding new features in it, but it might take some time.
