    This is a great question, the answer is Yes! 

    It does depend on the data you're uploading and requires some research and data prep before you import.

    Hi @Roy De Gouveia,

    Yes. You need to transform the data into multiple fields, sometimes seemingly redundant fields, to prepare it for importing it into Pipedrive. You have to decide where each data point goes in Pipedrive: Activity, Deal, Person, Organization.

    The effort will depend on the volume of data: the number of records and the number of data points.

    Would like to add one here. Please clean your existing database for invalid contacts using email verification and deduplication. This will help you to have a good start in a new CRM.
