Email: Issue with Openmoves? Using Active Demand

Hi.  I've been using Openmoves for my email campaigns, mainly because it integrates with Pipedrive. I tried using Mail Chimp and Email Octopus and when I did, my open rates and CTR's are higher than with Openmoves. It seems that with mailing in Openmoves, my emails are going into the spam filter more often.  Some of my business colleagues have said the same thing. And FYI, my emails are mainly text and not image heavy as I know that can increase the likelihood of it going to spam.  Has anyone else had this issue with Openmoves?  I'm seeing a demo of Active Demand this week.  Does anyone have any experience with Active Demand for emailing?
