Occasionally, we have deals where the customer is looking at using several different product lines. Thus as a result we often quote the same deal multiple times with different values for each one. It would be nice to be able to set a range for the value so that other users can get a better idea of the potential max and min value for the project. I could also see this being some type of hover over option, that shows the historic high and low, when clicking on the deal value.
