Thanks for accepting me into this group. I'm a newbie to PD and sales management using such software. 

Question. presently I have a pipedirve for my sales people set up such that a client is entired and immediately put in the deals pipeline. Deal values are at best guesstamits, and there in lies the problem, since it is a deal pipedrive, my data is incorrect because no deals are yet real. 

I wouuld like to create pipeline in which once a contact is entered, the pipeline (Perhaps called Prospecting?) would immediately be populated. But short of listing activities in this line, what else would be in it and if not in this line, how would i have a simple way for my people to keep track of where prospects are in the sales process before they are actually extended a proposal.
