Translation Mistake: Deal Weighted Value in Deal Progress Insight Report

Greetings,

I found another awkward Korean translation in Pipedrive insight report.

This is what we saw in English version.

The y-axis has an option for 'Deal weighted value', which accounts for deal probabilities while computing the total.

In Korean version, this is translated as '๊ฑฐ๋ž˜ ๊ฐ€์ค‘์น˜'.

In Korean, ๊ฐ€์ค‘์น˜(ๅŠ ้‡ๅ€ค) means the 'weight', which corresponds to deal probabilities in the weighted value. The word 'weighted value' has no matching Korean translation, so I think '๊ธฐ๋Œ€๊ฐ’ (expected value)' or '๊ฐ€์ค‘ํ•ฉ (weighted sum)' may be the correct translation.

Hope this helps.

Translation Mistake: Word order in the weighted total value of deals in a stage

Greetings,

I found another Korean mistake in the weighted total value of deals. This is what we saw in the English version.

โ‚ฉ1,614,900 - 15% of โ‚ฉ10.766.000

In the Korean version, however, this weighted total values are translated as follows:

โ‚ฉ1,614,900 - 15% ์ค‘ โ‚ฉ10.766.000

This is merely a word-to-word matching between English and Korean. Korean expects the percentage to be located after the total number. The correct translation will be as follows:

โ‚ฉ1,614,900 - โ‚ฉ10.766.000 ์ค‘ 15%

I know this may incur a major update in Pipedrive website structure because you have to switch the location of percentage and total values for some languages, but this is what Koreans expect to see for the weighted total value.

Hope this helps.

Inconsistent Translation of 'Win a deal': ์„ฑ์‚ฌ vs ์„ฑ๊ณต

Greetings,

I'm reporting another issue of Korean translationโ€”inconsistent translation of 'win'.

In English version, this is what we saw for a won deal.

A deal is won and its won time is shown on the left side.

ย

In Korean version, however, we have a discrepancy.

  1. A won deal is translated as '์„ฑ์‚ฌ'
  2. A won time is translated as '์„ฑ๊ณต ์‹œ๊ฐ„'

I believe a won time is translated as '์„ฑ์‚ฌ ์‹œ๊ฐ„' as it is consistent with the '์„ฑ์‚ฌ' at the top of the deal.

ย

We have the same issue when we try to drag a deal in the Pipeline view.

The third rectangle at the bottom should be translated as '์„ฑ์‚ฌ' instead of '์„ฑ๊ณต.'

ย

Hope these help.

Translation Mistake: 'Compromised' in Login Conformation Emails

Greetings,

I found one Korean translation mistake in Login Confirmation Emails.

This is an English version of these emails:

As shown in the following screenshot, 'compromised' is translated as '์†์ƒ' the in Korean version.

The word "์†์ƒ" usually means "to harm or to inture" or "to damage reputation". The correct translation will be "์•”ํ˜ธ๊ฐ€ ๋…ธ์ถœ๋˜์—ˆ์„ ์ˆ˜ ์žˆ์Šต๋‹ˆ๋‹ค".

Hope this helps.
