Add pre-defined activity sequences to Leads feature to "automate outbound sales activities"
@Mike van der Valk Hi Mike, Hi all, if possible it would be so great to attach "pre-defined activity sequences" to leads feature. (similar to sequences that Outreach.io is implementing).
We only do outbound and currently contact companies and candidates (we are headhunter) in pre-defined steps (day 1 - Social media outreach, day 4 - email1, day-x - call1, day-y email2, day-z other outrach/...) We track this having setup a specific "outbound pipeline in PD" and use the rotten feature to know when it is time to contact each lead again with which outrach method.
Having this streamlined in the Leads feature (also to hand-over leads and activity sequences to another PD user) would be so great and useful!
Is this or similar coming?

I'd need to check with the team what the plans are. But can you clarify. You now set up some kind of activity for day 1, day 4 etc.. and then manually run these activities?
Or, are you somehow automating all this outreach as well?So every time a new lead comes in, you'd like to attach a set of activities spread out over some days right?

ideally one could add a pre-defined sequence (set of pre-defined activities in PD - similiar as of the below screen shot) to a lead that then can be actioned upon. Additionally:
- the ENTIRE sequence can be moved / switched to another person / sales rep to be able to manage capacity as Sales Manager.
- INDIVIDUAL activities within a sequence can be moved to another Sales Rep (for instance all CALL activities to Senior Sales Rep A, as A is very good on the phone. All EMAIL or SOCIAL MEDIA messages activities to the junior Sales Rep B, as he can use templates and alike)
The idea is that one gets in in the morning, has his list of activities per lead / account and can then ("without thinking and to be fast") action upon the activity list and always knows what to do (call, email, other,...) without loosing time.

@Mike van der Valk I have set this up currently to mirror the desired functionality as "Outreach Pipeline" as of the below. The rotten feature (which I then filter to only see the rotting deals within a certain stage) shows me "my action list for today". This workaround works but it would be great to have more implemented "outbound features" natively build into PD.
If any other questions, always happy to elaborate. Cheers

Thanks for clarifying @Christian Finke and giving such an in depth description. This is super helpful.
@Nuno Oliveira @Gints Branks @Janis Geranins
Hope you don't mind me tagging you here! Could this be done with Mailigen and/or Workflow automation over time? Good idea to think about.0 -

In Mailigen we call these predefined sequences - blueprints. You can set up the messages to be sent as emails or SMS based on multiple triggers. There are 4 blueprints at the moment but they are for lead nurturing not for outbound sales because cold outreach is not allowed trough Mailigen (only opt-in email lists are allowed). In the future there definitely will be more blueprints available in the system.
I hope this makes things clearer.

Yes, understand that opt-in emails are valid. If a Mailigen blueprint/sequence "can be mixed" with Pipedrive activities (to have a workaround for valid outbound channels) That would be great. Thanks all!
