Controlling Stage gates for review and approval

Hi is there a way can use Pipedrive and automation that for a deal to move from Needs Analysis to Proposal and Proposal to Negotiation it will need review and approval from certain parties and only when all the check boxes are completed it can be moved. To make this clearer is also that its controlled by permissions so Sales lead cannot just check the boxes themselves?

    Great query and use case!

    Depending on the plan you're on, you could use Required fields under your Deals/Contacts/Organisation for reviewal purposes. This way the Deal cannot be moved to the next stage unless these fields are completed with data. There is no checkbox, but certainly allowing for a field to not be empty at the relevant stage will work.

    Hi @Vishal Reith

    The Required Fields is under the Pro Plan, however you can have Important Fields under Advanced.

    The Required Fields will not allow a Deal to progress to the next stage unless the data fields are completed, you can configure this per Pipeline if you have multiple Pipelines.

    If Required Fields is not possible for you under the Pro Plan, you could look to set up an Automation where everytime a Deal is moved to the next stage, an email is sent to someone who can review the data and check whats missing & complete. Or an Activity can be autogenerated which prompts Sales to fill in the data
