Deal visibility question

My client is a real estate firm. The deal title is always the address. We want to make sure that only the owner and followers of the deal can see/edit all information but the rest of the users can only see the deal title so they know not to go after that address.

Doable? Any workarounds?

@Nathan Weill how secret is all the information on the deal. Is it really about not seeing the data or more about restricting access to it? Also, is it needed for others to just see the title of the deal or also for example where it is in the pipeline and other generic info?

Thanks @Mike van der Valk. The point is to be able to search an address in Pipedrive and find out in one way or another if there is an open deal for that address—without seeing the rest of the deal info.

Could it work for you if you just restrict access to ALL deals to "owners & followers" visibility setting and then just make sure that the contact (person or organisation) linked to the deal is publicly visible and also includes that same address in their details (orgs already have a default address field, for persons you can create a custom one). So if someone types in an address in the search bar, a contact person or org shows up. On the detail pages of those contacts you can still see if there's at least 1 open deal, or more like in this screenshot.
