XERO native integration

Very disappointed to just discover Xero can no longer be integrated on pipedrive. This was one of the main reasons for considering Pipedrive when I was looking for a CRM in the summer. My whole business and accountant uses xero so I'm not sure this will be a viable option moving forward. What a shame. So many limitations including having more than one calendar options.

Xero is the dominant accounting product in Australia and New Zealand so the decision to not have any out of the box integration will seriously affect buying decisions in the APAC region. Why would they kill a whole area?

I am having to hire an integration specialist and we are using Make to create and integration but it has seriously slowed down our project.

Yes I'm with you both! There's a native Quickbooks integration but not a native Xero integration.

Those of you with a spare $24.90/month lying around could go for this integration: https://www.pipedrive.com/en/marketplace/app/xero-advanced-automation-sync-q/45175c5cd8a0c61c

Far too expensive for many of us though.

This is appalling! I've just transferred over my Xero account to a new account and discovered I can no longer integrate with Pipedrive. This was a key reason I chose Pipedrive as a CRM

You can use the Skyvia cloud platform to connect Pipedrive and Xero. It is a freemium app with no code.

    Hi @Tonksy

I'd recommend looking at make.com as an integration between the two systems.

Here's an example template: https://www.make.com/en/templates/10836-create-new-invoices-in-xero-from-new-deals-in-pipedrive but there are many more based on what you need to do.

    I hope this helps!

    Best,

    Bruce

It feels like pipedrive is dying slowly. Constantly killing of important features with no real direction or plan. I fear they will be out of business soon and sold to a larger company.

Hi there. Is there any prospect of a native pipedrive integration with xero?

    Hi @Andrew TFW

I suggest looking into Make and Zapier. Both of them have a free plan to test it out at first.

Paul Minors, a well-known Pipedrive partner also has a quick video on his Youtube.

We use Xero, as do many small and medium businesses in the UK and worldwide. There must be enough demand from Xero & Pipedrive users.

There are plenty of other CRMs that have native Xero integrations, so it must be possible for Pipedrive to bring this back if it cares about its users.

I do not care for the 3rd party integrations. It adds additional cost for us, plus our data is passed through a 3rd party. It is also such a hassle to maintain 3rd party connections.

Please could we have a native Xero connection like you have with Quickbooks. This would make things much simpler for using Xero.

I agree it would be extremely helpful if there was a native Xero connection.

There used to be one, but now the best way to manage Xero integration with Pipedrive is using Make/Integromat or Zapier or Relay.app.

I am looking for the best way for invoices to be able to produce invoices from Pipedrive to pull through to Xero. We were with QuickBooks and were able to do this no problem but have recently switched to Xero and unable to do this.

Hi @Susie_F thank you for the feedback which has been passed on to our product team. While there is no native Xero integration at the moment, you have alternatives such as this one from our app Marketplace, which uses Make as a middleman. You can also use an automation platform such as Make or Zapier to design a custom integration that meets your needs.

There used to be one and I believe they had to drop it because xero increased the fee's.

Even when it was available I still used Make to connect them because it allows for much more customizable specific use.

Are there any examples on how to set this up? I've started to create a scenario in Make though I'm not sure how to dynamically populate the line items in an Xero invoice as the Make module seems to have a static amount (item 1, item 2, etc.)

You have to use an array then map the array in the xero module.

There's lots of info on this in the make community and probably a better place to ask if you are needing more help.

Native Pipedrive-Xero integration exists but is limited. As an alternative Skyvia offers a superior no-code integration, with both one-way and bi-directional sync, advanced data mapping, and custom transformation

I use Cloudify now, tried a few others with no luck and this works great. The support they offer is fantastic. It is on Market place, Xero by Cloudify developer.
