Relating email to Pipedrive Deal in Gmail

I'm using the Pipedrive sidebar in Gmail. The most fundamental thing I need it to do, it does not seem to do... How can I link an email to a deal?

    Hello!

    In this case, the email is still only in external mail, so it is possible to link to a Deal and see the connection in this add-on in Gmail. However, it is not the same as linking emails inside Pipedrive. I do understand the need here though and will forward feedback to our team.
