Hello community, every thing is ok? Need help, how to limit pipedrive gain to a specific step? For example, just the seller could only make a profit when he reached the last stage of the funnel.
Hope you are doing well :) At the moment, we don't have an option to "block" a field from being populated, but I can give you an idea to use. This implies using our Workflow Automations and the Deal value field.
What you could create is an automation for when a deal is updated - add conditions "deal stage has changed" + deal stage is not -last stage name - + deal value is not empty - update the original field back to the previous stage.
It's important to communicate this to your team, as they might think that something is wrong when trying to move the deal, if the deal value is not empty, it will revert back to the previous stage.
