Emails not showing in prospect history

I'm newbie. When I send an email to a contact or organization from within Pipedrive (using my Gsuite email) should that show in the timeline history?

If it did not is that some kind of sync issue? My account is supposed to be synced.

    Welcome to Pipedrive! When you send an email via Email sync, yes the email should automatically link to your contacts as long as your settings are correct.
