Make merge tags work when you send a test email so you can test the merge tags. Right now, if you select "send test email" all of the merge tags will just appear blank in the test email you receive. This seems like an oversight.

    Seconding that. Getting frustrated with constant test email responses from colleagues "please remove this floating comma". Made worse by the fact that I cannot send any instructions with test emails to explain its actually 'John Doe, Welcome' - about to submit a feature request for this.

    Agree. It's hard to tell if your email merge tags are correct when there's no data for them in the test.

    This feels like basic stuff.

    Third this. Without data in the test emails, it is difficult to ensure that merge tags are correct. I have to actually target and send an email to myself as a workaround, which is slow and puts bad data into the system.

    I also "5th" this request. Today is my first time using Campaigns and trying to send a test email and an super frustrated that I can't confirm if my tags are working properly. I agree, this seems to be an oversight. Please correct this ASAP.
