Is there a way to bulk-load notes to organisation records?

I've recently imported a few thousand business records. I want to include a note with each to state the data sources, so that sales reps can understand this when they go to contact the prospect.

Is there a way to do this, or does it have to be another custom field? It's preferable to be able to add this as a note against the organisation record.

    Use Org ID to upload a note during a CSV import.

    If the list of sources is short and properly formatted, a single-option custom field will be preferred.
