Link email threads usings workflow automation

Please can we have the ability to link email threads together using automation so that the reciever can see email the email chain as part of our campaign?

    This has become a very big issue for us. Our CEO has informed me that if I can't put together automated campaigns that the recipient can see the thread/previous email then PD is an expensive solution due to needing additional paid bolt-ons. Gotta have this ASAP!

    Has there been updates to adding this feature to pipedrive? Seems like a feature that is requested often and available on other CRMs

    No. For now my work around is to add two custom variables for the initial email received: (1) date (2) subject. I then created an email template and add these variables into the text, leaving clients the job of copying the subject into their email search if they want to find the original email. Not pretty but should work.
