How to import list of contacts or leads from excel to pipedrive?

I have tons of data on my excel for leads and contacts. Now I want to do everything from pipedrive. How should I approach this exercise? Should I setup my excel in certain format or anything else?

Your admin user should do the import or he should allow all users to be able to import. ->Company settings -> manage users ->Permission sets ->Global permissions -> fix Global regular users.
