Phases vs Groups default

I almost exclusively use Groups and would like that to be my default view instead of phases. Is there a way to do this with a template or automation?

    Setting Groups as the default view in Projects is unfortunately not possible at the moment. However, I will pass this along to our team internally to review, thanks so much for the valuble feedback!

    I'm playing with Phases and Groups and am trying to work out why Groups might be better. Can anyone share an example of why they use groups v's phases specifically?
