Lead to deal when reply to email

Hi,

I just created my first automation:

When a lead is added, send an email. If the email is replied, convert to a deal.

Sending the emails works well. But pipedrive doesn't create the lead.

Any idea what the issue is?

    Where did you add the wait/delay condition? And why is it required?

    This question is not related to the issue at hand, but I was curious. What if the lead replies saying that they are not interested? Can we automate it in a way where the deal is created only if the lead replies positively?
