Filters - Include/exclude filters or groups of expressions

We have several filters that need the ability to nest groups of expressions. For example, we have a filter that pulls all active clients based on an "end date" custom field in Deals. It works great.

However, we cannot do the opposite - exclude that same list of customers from a filter because there is no way to exclude a group. We either need the ability to group expressions or the ability to include/exclude records that show up in another filter.
