Help! How to enter Organizations and People once?

What is the best way to enter prospect information? Currently I have my team adding the Organization (via Contact drop down), but the contact information does not populate in People. How do we avoid having to enter contact details (name, address, email etc.) twice?

The best way to populate Pipedrive with large quantities of data, especially if some of that data needs to be linked to each other (like People and Organizations) is by importing it either from a spreadsheet or from another CRM:

• Importing data into Pipedrive with spreadsheets
• Importing data from a previous CRM using Import2
