I want to setup a welcome email based on a custom field

I want to setup an Auto Responder which should be triggered automatically for those new leads which has a certain word in their custom fields. Is this possible? and how?

You can create this in Workflow Automation. The basic automation should be as follows:

Trigger:

Lead is Updated

{{custom field}} contains {{word}

Action:

Send email using a template

Question: is this also the only way to target specific leads from specific web forms? We have to create custom fields in the form rather than simply targeting webforms by their webform names?
