As Amit suggested, using "D" is the best workaround on this for now. There are a few other hotkeys and shortcuts available as well. Take a look at this video for an overview.

Hi @Liz (Ops Designed) this is a nice workaround, but it would be great to also have a direct link, so I can click from my favorites bar directly to a "New deal" form :-)
