Link Person to More than One Organisation

I couldn't find this anywhere and thought I had posted this in past but seems not.
I would like to connect a person to another organisation directly rather than a custom field or other organisation.
Freshworks and Hubspot do this well.
I am in a networking group so a member of my group will be connected to their business and the chapter I am a member of. It means that I can see what deals are done by organisation at two different levels.
The other organisation feature doesn't work for reporting.
