Require a reason when a lead or deal is archived
In a similar concept to the 'Lost reasons' function in Deals, we would like the user to have to answer an 'Archive reason' question when archiving a lead or deal.
For example:
- Was a test
- Was a duplicate
- etc.
Can you please add this to your feature requests.
I'd imagine you'd have a 'Require archive reason' company setting (yes/no toggle) so users can choose if they want this or not.

Until this feature is added, here is a little hack to remind users to enter the Archive Reason.
If you create a Lead Custom Field for "Archive Reason," you can then create a Workflow Automation to create an activity when a Lead is archived and that field is empty.
Here is what the Custom Field might look like. I've hidden it from all pipelines so it's really only visible in the Lead inbox.
Then, here is what the Workflow Automation would look like.
