Assigning A Contact Name to a New Lead as the Referral Source

I want to connect my contacts to the lead source that gave me their name. Is there a way to designate a field to select an existing contact as the lead source for a new contact I have received?

I want to be able to see who has helped me most expand my network.

    Add a custom field in organization. Make custom title. Use "person" in the dropdown. You should be able to then use the filter features to make a custom filter.

    Thank you.

    To customize a field I am assuming I need to be a full paid member? I dont see where I can add the custom field.

    You get custom fields on all levels of membership.

    Click on an organization...By details you will see Customize fields to the right...scroll down and you will see add a new field.

    You can also do it via settings...data fields.
