Customizable date formats

Hi there,

would be great to have a possibility to customise the way the user views their dates. Right now, there is only a local standard to choose from (e.g. Czech in the screen shot below), but I don't have an option to view it in DD-MM-YYYY (or other) should I want to see a date with digits only format (without the name of the month). This is especially annoying in table view, where it takes unnecessary space.
