Add a custom field type to link deals

As part of our business, it may happen that a larger project will happen in multiple deals (e.g. Resales of products, Professional Services, Resale Outsource Services, etc.). It would be nice if there was a way to link deals together to create a "complex deal".
The product module doesn't handle this case as "complex deal" will receive multiple PO which may or may not close at the same time.
One way would be to have a way to specific a custom field with a type "deal" so it could allow to make links together.
Another way could be to have "child deals" so it could rollup the cost and the price to the master deal. This would require more development in Pipedrive...but would be cool to handle complex deals.
