New: Enhanced email labels functionality ✉️
Happy Friyay community!
We’re happy to announce the rollout of two significant updates to our email labels functionality! We analyzed lots of valuable feedback from all of you regarding the email inbox, and we’re confident this will enhance the overall user experience.
- Add email labels from the email list view: You can now add labels directly from the email list view in the Sales Inbox. This update makes it easier and quicker to organize emails without needing to open each email individually.
- Bulk labeling: In addition to adding labels to individual emails, you can simultaneously apply labels to multiple emails. This bulk action feature will save time and streamline the email management process.
This update is now rolling out to all companies! Take your email management to the next level, and let us know what you think in the comments.

Hi, good news... but it continues to put labels only on a thread of conversation... it would be good to have the option to label senders (if an email arrives from a hot lead, it should stand out in some way... or maybe I could achieve it with some automation?

@Manuel Oliveira please make the email labels appear on timelines as well - would be tremendously helpful. Showing them just in the inbox limits their possible applications (i.e. spot important or relevant messages faster in the ocean of emails on timeline)

@Manuel Oliveira It would also be interesting to be able to choose to pin at the top the emails with a certain label

@Manuel Oliveira - are you planning to add the functionality to link emails from a person view or organization view to a lead or deal?

You need to be able to label at contact level. Otherwise it's cumbersome and pointless.

I agree @Josh Buesking - having labels for emails just in the inbox makes them incredibly limited

Agreed, I really want to assign labels to a contact or a specific email address. This would enable me to have all my emails categorized as they come into my inbox and remove the effort of constantly labeling things from the same sender. Once labeled, I can easily focus on prospects, clients, etc. and ignore newsletters and other less important items. Pair this with filters and you have a turbo-charged inbox and can get to inbox zero fast.
Additionally, using a prospect and client label as an example. As a prospect becomes a client, I could simply update the label for the contact and still have prior correspondence all now indicate client. With this method emails from when they were a prospect will appear as "prospect".
