Link email to deal from person/organization view

I am viewing a person or organization. I would like to link an email with that person/organization to a deal from within that very same view.

    I am viewing a person (https://….pipedrive.com/person/…) which already has a lead (https://….pipedrive.com/leads/inbox/…) assigned to it. The previous emails are however not yet linked to the lead but only to the person.

    Could you please add a button in the person view (https://….pipedrive.com/person/…) to be able to link existing email conversations to a lead/deal.

    The current workaround to find that email thread in the inbox (https://….pipedrive.com/mail/search/thread/…) and link it from there is just horrible in terms of UI.

    You used to be able to do this in a round about way by clicking on the message and "open in mail", then link from there, but that button has been removed.

    It would be so much easier to link the appropriate emails from the "Person" or "Org" pages. PLEASE add this functionality.

    It would be even better if there was a box at the top of the email showing what it is linked to, just like the "Tag" box, but for the associated "Deal" or "Lead".

    @Helena Parmask when clicking the "Link Item" button it would be great to have a button "Add new deal / lead"

    @Helena Parmask when clicking on the participants below an email that is already linked to a deal I would like to be able to see if they participate in the deal and make them participants
