Files vs Documents

Still learning how to make the most of Pipedrive. What is the difference between uploading a document under documents or files? They seem to be the same to me, so what am I missing?

    Based on my understanding and experience with Pipedrive, here are the differences between the Documents and Files tabs:

    1. Files Tab: This is where you can upload documents or images to provide additional information for your records. These can be any kind of supporting documents related to your deals, contacts, or organizations.
    2. Documents Tab: This tab is designed for creating documents using templates that can automatically merge information from your records, such as name, email, phone number, etc. You can use this functionality to create proposals or invoices based on your records. This feature is integrated with cloud storage services like Google Drive, allowing you to send these documents to your records, including options for requesting signatures.
