Integration to convert quotes into invoices?

My sales team is currently switching back and forth between Pipedrive and another app to actually create the quote and collect a deposit. We take 50% upfront and the other app allows us to convert that approved quote into an invoice, which automatically takes off the deposit fom the final invoice.

Is there any sort of integration within pipedrive so we could do this within the app while we're at the appointment instead of switching back and forth?

    Hey, @Dhuso!

Fortunately, there are several ways to achieve this!

Pipedrive offers native integrations with popular tools like QuickBooks and Xero, which can handle quotes, invoices, and deposits directly within the app. For instance, QuickBooks' integration allows you to create quotes and invoices from within Pipedrive and sync them. Similarly, the Xero integration enables you to manage invoices and payments directly from Pipedrive, making the process smoother.

Another great option is PandaDoc, which is excellent for creating, sending, and tracking quotes, proposals, and contracts. With the PandaDoc integration, you can generate documents directly from your Pipedrive deals and keep track of their status without having to switch back and forth between them.

If native integrations don't meet all your needs, third-party platforms like Zapier or Integromat can also help. These tools let you create automated workflows to connect Pipedrive with your preferred invoicing app. For example, you can set up a workflow where, when a deal reaches a certain stage in Pipedrive, a quote is automatically created in your invoicing app. Then, when the quote is approved, a payment request for the deposit can be sent automatically, and the quote can be converted to an invoice.

These options might make it easier to manage everything during appointments without the need to switch between different apps, so I hope these suggestions help :)

Hey Dhuso, what is your ERP or accounting software.

Typically a business will have their CRM/ERP integrated, so the sales rep can go through their cycle, form a quote from products/line items and when ready for invoice or deal won - ships the deal info to the ERP for the accounting process to begin. Some integrations can ship it back once paid if there is a post sales process in the CRM also.

I would recommend a custom integration for this piece to which there are several tools on the market. One I would recommend to talk to as an option is SyncMatters as they specialize in CRM/ERP integrations for businesses.

It would be great to have a built-in invoice generation feature, even in a basic form, as seen in other CRMs. We operate in countries where QuickBooks and other popular solutions do not have integration with the local market, and paying $100 per user just to be able to print invoices seems too costly.
