Is there a Google Calendar integration that recognizes a meeting being scheduled and automatically does something? (e.g., sees that a meeting was scheduled and moves the deal in the pipeline)

    Hey, @Rafael Vianna!

Yes, Pipedrive offers a Google Calendar integration that can automatically recognize when a meeting is scheduled. This integration helps sync your Google Calendar events with Pipedrive activities, ensuring that all your meetings and tasks are up-to-date within Pipedrive. While the default integration focuses on syncing events and keeping your calendar updated, automating specific actions like moving deals in the pipeline when a meeting is scheduled typically requires additional setup using automation tools or Pipedrive's built-in workflow automation.

To set up such automation, you first need to integrate Google Calendar with Pipedrive. Once integrated, you can use Pipedrive’s workflow automation feature to trigger actions based on specific events: create a new workflow, and set the trigger event to be when an activity, such as a meeting, is scheduled. Define the conditions for the workflow (such as the type of activity (meeting) and any other criteria that must be met) and set the action to move the deal to a different stage in the pipeline.

If Pipedrive’s WFAs do not cover your needs, you can use Zapier. With Zapier, you can create a new Zap with Google Calendar as the trigger app, set the trigger to be when a new event is created or updated in Google Calendar, and add an action step to update the corresponding deal in Pipedrive (such as moving the deal to a different stage).

    • To illustrate this process using Zapier, you would start by creating a Zap and setting the trigger app to Google Calendar, choosing the event trigger such as “Event Start” or “New Event Created.” After connecting your Google Calendar account and setting up the trigger to watch for new meetings, you would add Pipedrive as the action app, choose the action event such as “Update Deal” or “Move Deal to Stage,” connect your Pipedrive account, and configure the action to move the deal to the desired stage when the meeting is scheduled.

    I hope this helps :)
