Is the only way to synch (and/or create) a new Calendly appointment to Pipedrive using Outfunnel?

We want to track calendly appointments made in our Calendly account with a new (or exisitng) contact in Pipedrive, so our meetings are tracked correctly in Pipedrive. We tried setting up a Zap, in Zapier, but it went haywire and messed up our Pipedrive. We don't want to have to pay an additional 3rd party just for this. Is there a fix please?
