Campaigns based on deal information OR... deal templates

I'm trying the campaign feature and see that I can only use Person tokens (first and last name, etc.).
Is it possible to create a deal-based campaign? For instance, I would send emails to the contacts associated with a deal (let's say all deals created in the last week) with the ability to use deal token properties in the body.

If this is not possible, is there a way to create other deal templates that look more 'designed'? in the deals' email templates section?

Thanks!

    Hi @ma_wove 👋

Within the actual campaign, there's only the possibility to pick either a Person field or an Organisation field, as fields from other items are not available for now - it's good feedback! If you can, I'd suggest you share that in the "Ideas and Product Feedback" section.

If, however, you create a custom field you can then add that custom field to the campaign! Would that maybe work? I can try to see if there's a way to make it work if you tell me what type of information you'd like the campaign to grab from a deal.

Regarding sending it to contacts based on when a deal is created, that's possible! When setting up the campaign you can create a filter that will bring over only contacts that fit that filter, here's an example:

About the possibility of using Email sync instead, as far as I know, the emails would just look like an email and not be "designed" as a campaign can be.

    Hope this helps!

Andreia, thank you for the information.

Ideally, it would be great to get some key properties from a deal (deal title, value, deal custom fields, etc.) associated with a contact in a campaign. This way one can send transactional emails such as order updates. But I'm not sure if that's the aim of the 'campaigns' feature –since they seem more marketing-oriented. Perhaps a more focused "Campaign" for deals would be better, as such, one could access all the details and send it to the associated Person.

    Thank you for the suggestions!
