I'm wondering, why there is no possibility to attach files to emails directly from Pipedrive? I can attach a file to person or company or deal, but when I want to send this file with an email, I have to download this file and attach it from my computer. It doesn't make any sense. Can Pipedrive add this kind of function? It will be very helpful.

We just purchased Pipedrive and are in the process of setting it up and beginning to use it. I just assumed you would be able to attach a file into an email from Pipedrive. Finding out I have to continue to save all the files to my computer is very disappointing. I see people have been asking for this feature for many years now. Has it never been added yet or am I missing some way?

I agree. I just ran into this issue myself. I'm a bit gobsmacked to find out that I cannot attach a file that's been uploaded to a deal.

Yes, This is a BIG problem. You can´t attach files from a contact within a Deal directly to the deal nor to the contact, so you have a the files seperat from the emails. PLUS you CAN´T download the files in bulk, you really have to download EACH one individually. THIS has to be addressed RIGHT AWAY. We don´t need AI Stuff now. We need that to be FIXED ASAP. THANKS

This has been queried for years and is such an obvious feature to include. It is a massive inconvenience to have to keep downloading to my PC as I don't want files all over the place, hence why I have a CRM.

Come on Pipedrive, you can do better than this. I have seem comments about this dating back FIVE years and nothing has been done. Listen to your customers.

This is a common pain point! The inability to attach files directly from Pipedrive to emails can be inefficient. It would indeed be a great feature if Pipedrive allowed direct file attachments from person, company, or deal records when composing emails. You might want to suggest this to Pipedrive’s support or feature request page—it could streamline workflows for many users!

Crazy that this is not solved yet! You are able to connect google drive but when you compose an email you are unable to select google drive as an option. Is the only work around to install google drive desktop and sync back with the hardware? Seems a stone-age kinda workflow. What else can we do to push this on their development agenda?

Well at least the Pipedrive Chatbot is clear that they dont support it! And it does not look like it is in their development pipe:

I understand you're looking to use Google Drive for file attachments in Pipedrive's email composition tool. Unfortunately, this isn't currently possible. While we do offer Google Drive integration for storing files attached to deals and contacts, email attachments are handled differently. For email attachments, our system only allows uploading files from your local drive. These attachments are stored on our own storage system, not in Google Drive. When composing emails in Pipedrive, you'll need to select files from your computer. Keep in mind that there's a size limit of approximately 25 MB for email attachments. For larger files or to use Google Drive content, you might consider adding a link to the Google Drive file in your email body instead of attaching the file directly. This way, you can still share your Google Drive content while working within the current limitations of our email system.
