Campaign API to generate temaplates

I am missing extended possibilities to control the campaigns via API. The most important point for me would be to create a template via API and start the campaign.
Use case: I publish blog posts on my homepage. I can retrieve these via a feed. Whenever a new article appears, I would like to send it to a fixed mailing list with a teaser (e.g. the first X characters) and a link to the blog article, fully automatically.

It would really help in developing as well, and remove the necessity of relying on third party tools!

Seems like a quick win to me and we don't need to do this with the other tools!
