Use projects without needing full license?

Hi, we are considering moving all our Jira users to the project board in pipeline. However our vast majority of team will only need projects in Pipedrive and nothing else. But when trying to test it out it seems it is demanding a full license for the user? How is that possible, the project function is like a 8 dollar cost with other companies and this would force us to pay more like 60+ euros per person if using pipedrive. Please tell me I am just mistaking here?

    Hi @Robin P,

To give you some further context into this, Pipedrive’s Projects feature is only a part of the platform. In order to properly use Projects, it's necessary for users to also have access to contacts, activities, etc which does require a full seat to access. Unfortunately, there isn’t a standalone seat option specifically for just the Projects feature at this time. However, feel free to share feedback regarding this in the Ideas and Product feedback section of the community so other users can upvote your suggestion!

I hope this helps to confirm your doubts!

Yup, it would be fantastic feature if we could add project users without full licence capabilities, and example can explain why:
We have sales project managers (have access to all customer lists, deals, mails e.c.t.) and we have Tech. personel - who do not have access to all deals e.c.t…) so, perfect workflow for us would be:
    1) Sales project manager create project from template and adds responsible Tech. personel to it

    2) Tech personel see only their checklists and can attach docs. e.c.t. - they jave access only to specific projects and contacts where permission is granted by projects they are assigned to (do not see deals, do not see prices, conversations …)

    3) Tech personel clicks when task is started and when finished (adds maybe some files to task) and add comments to tasks

    4) Customer can see project status (report) onepager so they see current progress.

So tech personel basically just click when task is done and when it is started, add comments, attach some files. For now we are using different tool for that - but it would be beneficial to use this simplifies project version for non CRM full licence users.
