Make the product section in the Pipedrive deal a required field.
At the company I work for, I am responsible for using Pipedrive and the data the sales team put into the system.
Now I often have the same problem that our sales team does not fill in the ‘products’ piece in the deal.
This part is very important for our company to see what products are in the ‘pipeline’ and, of course, to be able to forecast.
I am curious to know who else is running into this and if there are any alternatives at the moment to make products a requirement in a pipedrive deal.
But also, when is the pipedrive development team going to do something with this?

So instead of finding the product they are just populating the deal value?
I have mine setup to where it can't move past the first stage without a value. So if it's zero it gives a popup.
I'm not aware of a way to require a product but I'd just make a company policy that their commission or something will be deducted for it not due to extra admin time.1 -
Hi @Niverplast there is no dedicated setting to make the product section a required field, so I have moved your request to the feedback category for visibility. In the meantime @Josh Buesking 's suggestion is a good workaround.
