Filter by Referral Organization

Is there a way to filter leads and deals by the referral organization? I can filter by referral source, but we often have several referral sources associated with the same organization and I need to easily see how many referrals have come from the organization vs each person at the org. Thanks!

    Hi @JB04,

    There isn't a native field for referral organization in Pipedrive so it is not possible to filter for this normally, however, if you create a custom field in your account to add this data, you will then be able to create a filter using that custom field to isolate these items! I hope this helps!

    Thanks Sophie! What I'm hoping for is… when I select the Referral Source (the person), it would auto-populate their organization into my custom field that I've named Referral Organization. As it is, I have to select both the person and the org, and if someone forgets to manually select the org, that lead/deal doesn't appear when sorting by Referral Org. Making Referral Org a mandatory field isn't possible because sometimes there isn't a Referral Source/Org. I can work with having to manually input both Referral Source and Referral Organization, but I wish there was a way to automate it as I described above so that it's more foolproof.

    @JB04, would it make sense just to have the Organization name field be: Organization Name + Referral Person?

    Ultimately you're just trying to sort out who refers you the most deals. For example, if you have Pipedrive sort your Organization by most Won deals you're going to see who the top 10% or 20% of Won deals are coming from.

    As for the top referring Organization/Company , it's easy to look at that same list and see which Organization name shows up the most based on the naming convention you gave it the same Organization field. No custom fields required, you just use the Organization field that is native in Pipedrive that's visible on every deal, and you can move it to the top of deal details if you wanted to.
