Pipedrive Pulse - What's really changing with the Data enrichment?

I just attended the event 'Pipedrive Pulse and other highlights'. I was particularly interested in the Data Enrichment function. In the preview video that went out inviting us to this event it showed being able to pull people directly from LinkedIn into Pipedrive with all their details prepopulated for us. During the demo just now, it appeared to be a button that was available in a pre existing contact that you could press and input all public info…. this already exists in the current version under 'Smart Data Search'. I guess my question is, what's really changing with the data enrichment function and will the ability to add someone directly from LinkedIn be available or not? Thanks

Hi Louise, that's a good question, let me provide a bit more context.
The main changes to Data Enrichment / Smart Contact Data that we are planning to deliver are:
- we are switching to a new data provider that should provide better details, specifically around contact info like (phone and email)
- currently we require email address as an input, we plan to lose this limitation, meaning that you can also have enrichment return email addresses to you
- right now you can just see the enriched info in the Deal/Contact detail pages - in the future these fields would become more usable, you can add them to columns in list views, use them in filters (we are also discussing supporting them in Automations)
- using firmographic data that feeds into Pulse to allow surfacing best ICP match Contact in Pulse feeds (this would be one of the many signals that go into the Pulse feed logic)
Regarding Linkedin to Pipedrive flow, we have a good partner in Surfe, I'd encourage to look into this option here:

Can you tell me, for Surfe, If only one Pipedrive user in my team of 3 needs this application, can I just purchase for them and it doesn't have to be for all users?
Are we free to cancel anytime? Or are there any penalties if we decide to stop using it during a set period?

The number of users in Surfe is not tied to the number of users in Pipedrive.
If you’re on a monthly plan, you pay month by month, which means you can cancel the following month. If you have an annual plan and wish to cancel early, Surfe does not offer refunds.0 -
