I want to record the date/time when a deal was first assigned to an agent.

Time to assignment is an important metric for us.

Ideally I can record it within pipedrive in a custom field.

Any ideas?

    Trigger: Deal updated

    Condition: Deal owner has changed

Action: Update a custom date field with the current time

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

I dont think its as easy as you describe.

    1. There is no field type "timestamp / date time" - its either date or time but not both it seems
    2. When using a date field, i dont get the option for "current date" - even if there was it wouldnt be enough since time to assignment should be measured in minutes.
    3. You proposal would update the field with every owner change (generally owners dont change for us, but they can) - there is no option for the trigger to say "owner changed from"
